  • The Shadow Was Big: Now No More

It must be hard to find your own light and appreciation in a company started by your ubiquitous brother, and sometimes the way up – is out.

It must be hard to find your own light and appreciation in a company started by your ubiquitous brother, and sometimes the way up – is out.

This might be what Randi Zuckerberg contemplated after she formally resigned her post as Director of Marketing for Facebook. As you can tell by the last name, Randi Zuckerberg is the sister of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Randi is said to be starting her own social media company, which would make sense, because she became more vocal about various online issues, especially anonymity on the web, and now she will have a company that will look specifically at strategies and culture, which are passionate to her.

Most people would say, why would she leave Facebook, but I commend her for following her own path to contribute through a smaller voice, which might avail a greater offering.

    Good Luck.
