I think it’s especially important and sensitive for Upstart: Business and Management for 20-40 Year Old Professionals women members to get advice, from anywhere, because they are too often in environments where their skill-sets and experiences are not completely valued, especially from the leadership level, so women have to be hyper-vigilant to not only accept counsel from other sources, but to seek advice from trustworthy sources, who are interested and invested in their success.

I also believe that women within any work or professional gathering, should learn to create small consortium’s for this very reason, so they don’t have to wait for someone to appear: women can be proactive in developing these sessions for themselves, which might have tremendous benefit.
