  • Lessons for a Life Without Limits Pt 1

Some introspection and to forecast the possibilities of a new beginnings or end’s to unwanted ends, but it is time to change – to get better – to go forward with the full complement of our talents and abilities.

I don’t know if I’m starting the year or ending the year with some inspiration for Upstart: Business and Management for 20-40 Year Old Professionals members: some introspection and to forecast the possibilities of a new beginnings or end’s to  unwanted ends, but it is time to change – to get better – to go forward with the full complement of our talents and abilities. I am leaning on T.D. Jakes – from his best-selling book, 64 Lessons For A Life Without Limits. Jakes  the chief pastor of The Potter’s House, a non-denominational American megachurch, with 30,000 members, located in Dallas, Texas. This is Part 1.

    1. Know who you are and what you’re all about.

    2. Assess your strengths and weaknesses.

    3. Accept responsibility.

    4. Identify what matters most.

    5. Recalibrate.

    6. Anticipate change.

    7. Plan for the unexpected.

    8. Resurrect your dream.

    9. Make it happen.

    10. Prepare for the doors open to you now.

    Good luck.
