  • Tech’s “Digital Women”

    It’s an important story, because the dearth of women, not only in Silicon Valley, or on tech company boards, so this is a big deal – finally a big deal in a good way. Let’s hope this is the start of something impressive and ongoing.

    The invention of e-commerce, has democratized the business landscape, at least online anyway,  and as a result, more and more women are founding internet businesses.

    The Huffington Post demonstrates with a slideshow, 18 Female Founders in Tech to Watch, which comprises an eclectic array of women business owners, from “Rent The Runway CEO and co-founder Jennifer Hyman, GenJuice CEO and co-founder Arielle Patrice Scott, and LearnVest CEO and co-founder Alexa Von Tobe.”

    It’s an important story, because the dearth of women, not only in Silicon Valley, or on tech company boards, so this is a big deal – finally a big deal in a good way. Let’s hope that this is the start of something impressive and ongoing.
