  • Women: Making Headway in Corporate America (Slideshow)

This is what they should have figured out a long time ago: that within most household, women not only make the purchase decisions — they also do the buying. What I mean is that they’ve never really leveraged their power, by demanding representation within the workforce, or holding back their redistributing of consumer equity to those questionable companies.

Finally, women are making their push — marching toward true equality in corporate America.

do the buying. What I mean is that they’ve never really leveraged their power, by demanding representation within the workforce or corporate executive suites — by holding back their redistributing of consumer equity to those questionable companies unless this was corrected.

Upstart: Business and Management for 20-40 Year Old Professionals is not in a position where we have any senior executives: really anyone besides me and Donnie Bryant (Content Director), but as we grow, I will be certain not to just utilize women in Human Resources, Marketing and Communications or Corporate Relations, but in “revenue line businesses” — in products and services.

There’s no one, who understands the buyer more than women, which I think would be a great advantage for any company that captures and repurpose that unique insight, and besides, there are so many sophisticated and brilliant women, who deserve and have earned leadership positions — there is no better time than now

I will always run Upstart: Business and Management for 20-40 Year Old Professionals through what’s best for the company, and somehow I expect not before long, a leading light, who happens to be a woman, will be running our company: quite honestly, I hope it’s my daughter Callie some day.

This is short white paper on the phenomenon from The Meyvn Group.
